This week the children in Year 5 have begun to read the book The Jamie Drake Equation by C Edge.

They were introduced to to the text by looking a images of Space and making predictions from the the blurb.  then inspired the children to draw their idea what what Space would look like from a window of the International Space Centre.

In Maths the children have been working on formal multiplication, this has involved them making links to their learning from last week and accessing times tables.

In Geography the children have compared and contrasted the differences between West Bromwich in the past and now. The children have looked at pictures and produced booklets explaining the differences in the form of a non-chronological report.

The children look forward to their super start to the topic on Wednesday 23rd to the Space Centre Leicester.
