Over the past few weeks we have really got stuck into our topic based on ourselves, particularly our families. The children have brought in some lovely photos of their families and ‘All about me’ fact files that has sparked some wonderful discussions within the whole class. The staff were really surprised at how confidently some children could share their experiences about their families with their friends.

The children have become more familiar with the traditional stories of Goldilocks and The Three Bears and The Three Little Pigs. We have encouraged the children to join in with the stories and to talk about their favourite book and why.

We have also been looking at different types of houses that people live in. The children showed a great interest that some people live in lighthouses and narrowboats.

As we are now in Autumn and the children go outside everyday, please remember to send them into Nursery all wrapped up ready to enjoy the fresh outdoors!
