In English, year 2 are enjoying the Pirate Cruncher. we have written a letter to a fellow pirate and written a setting description of the stormy sea. We have produced some fantastic adjectives and our teachers are very impressed. In Maths, we have been looking at Place Value and representing numbers in different ways, including using Base 10 equipment. We have even begun partitioning numbers, which has been challenging. In Science, we have begun our study on Materials and have identified how much we already know about them. We are setting in to year 2 really well and look forward to more challenges.
