This week the children in Y5 have begun to calculate and solve statistics. They need to remember to always refer to the data for the answers, as they would do for a reading test.

In English the children have performed the poem A silent poem using the strategy of talk for writing. This added expression and added meaning to the poem. The children have also written Amazonian poems using the devices learnt.

In Science this week the children have examined and compared the life cycles between different insects but produced a fact file.

The week ended well for year 5 has they led the Harvest Assembly!
