This week and next week, Year 4 will be completing their statutory multiplication checks. This check will be completed by most children in Year 4 across the country during this 2 week window. This check aims to ascertain their knowledge of and fluency with their times tables. Year 4 have been working hard to develop their times tables knowledge and this will be a chance for them to demonstrate this understanding. The check is a short activity, approximately 5 minutes long, completed via a laptop or tablet where children will be asked 25 times table questions. You can support your child by encouraging them to continue to practice their times tables at home in preparation for the check.
