Maths Competition Updates
It has been another successful week for the mathematicians at Ryders Green.
On Monday, 35 children from Years 5 and 6 were selected to take part in the Primary Maths Challenge. The paper consisted of 25 very difficult questions, requiring the children to use their best reasoning skills. The papers have been marked and we are just waiting to see who is going to claim the bronze, silver and gold certificates! Also, we recieved some fantastic news!
Our Year 6 team from Ryders Green have progressed through to the next round of the Young Mathematicians' Award at Explore Learning. The children will be completing another tough puzzle next Wednesday, so we wish them luck! The winners of this round will progress through to the final at Cambridge University!
Congratulations to all of the children taking part in these events.
