Vision and Ethos

At Ryders Green we strive to ensure that every child is afforded the best educational experiences from their one chance at primary school. Our vision places learning at the heart of all that we do.

Positivity is central to our school ethos and all staff and children embrace this fully. Through collaborating we have an open friendly dialogue between staff, children and peers whereby we celebrate each other’s strengths and learn from each other. Teamwork is encouraged as staff and children know that together everyone achieves more.

As a school honesty and trust is encouraged and we create the will and the skill to co-operate and achieve this successfully. We are dedicated to letting all children flourish by encouraging respect. We teach the children to respect each other and themselves which allows them the strength to believe that they can achieve. By respecting our environment, we have a surrounding which is engaging, stimulating, interactive and unique based upon our children's learning styles and needs. These values are ones which the children can transfer to their lives as they grow.

Working as a whole school community, we keep our environment and each other safe during both work and play. We appreciate the need to explore and learn in a variety of ways to develop and achieve our goal.

We help the children become independent, critical thinkers who are able to persist and persevere. Every child engages fully in all areas of the curriculum and adults work hard to make it accessible for all. We rise to the challenge no matter what is put in front of us.

We hope that this website gives you a taste of life within our calm and caring school and we look forward to welcoming you to discover more about us, the achievements of our pupils and the exciting opportunities we provide.
